Cablevision Seeks to Cover New York In Wifi Bubble

The internet service provider Cable vision, has begun plans to spread it’s influence across the big apple. Offering free service to customers, the deal should provide connectivity to people with laptops on the go and iphone users. The news should also excite citizens using snort to tap into free high speed internet.
The diversified cable operator is offering the WiFi service at no charge to its 2.4 million Internet customers at speeds of up to 1.5 Megabits per second, similar to DSL at home. The company currently doesn’t have plans to offer the service to non-subscribers.

Google’s Chrome Browser, a New Wave for Net Surfers

Releasing another browser into the market, Google seeks to compete with Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Surpassing Microsoft in functionality and security is no difficult task, as Bill’s strategy has been to defy industry standards resulting in poor performance and security holes. The real question is, will chrome behave itself and render pages properly like Firefox? The web development community as a whole has solidified a seething hatred for Internet Explorer over the years due to an eternity of lost hours dealing with bugs, but how will chrome contend.
